Pop-Up Photovoice Workshop!

This small-group, in-person, intensive workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the photovoice methodology—a critical participatory action research approach that amplifies voices through photography and dialogue.

Over two days, you’ll gain practical experience and knowledge about designing and facilitating a photovoice project and receive personalized support and feedback on your project-in-motion.

When?
Friday, December 19 & Saturday, December 20, 2025
9:30 AM – 4:00 PM each day (with a break for lunch)

Hue House — Downtown Muncie, Indiana
(second-floor space in a historic building; no elevator access)

A few additional notes.

▪️ If you need lodging, check out the Courtyard by Marriott Muncie at Horizon Convention Center. This hotel is in walking distance to/from Hue House.

▪️ If you need flights, the closest major airport to Muncie, Indiana is IND. Muncie is about a 75-minute drive to/from IND.

▪️ The address for Hue House is 405 S. Walnut St., Muncie, IN, United States, Indiana. Hue House is housed in Suite 206, just above The Caffeinery and Murray's Jewelers.

▪️ There is ample on-street and open lot parking near Hue House. Here is a map for reference.

▪️ The workshop space is located on the second floor of a beautiful, historic downtown building. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access, and reaching the space requires climbing one flight of stairs. I recognize that this may present a barrier for some potential participants. If you are interested in the workshop but this creates an accessibility concern, please reach out. I’m happy to explore alternative arrangements or future offerings to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.
